Forge turns a positive habit into a refereed contest between two people. You pick a habit and a length, invite an opponent, and choose a judge. Every day both of you submit a photo or a short video as proof, the judge rules who won that day, and a live scoreboard tracks who is ahead until the forge ends.
Each day of the forge is scored on its own. Both competitors submit proof for that day, the day becomes rulable as soon as both have submitted, and the judge rules a winner, a tie, or a no-show. Winning a day earns points, and whoever leads when the last day is ruled wins the forge and takes a completion bonus on top.
You choose 3, 7, 14 or 30 days when you create it. Longer forges are worth more points, so a 30-day forge moves you up the leaderboard far faster than ten 3-day ones.
One photo or one video of up to 60 seconds, submitted for that day. The 60-second cap is enforced by the recorder and again on upload. Some habits ask for a before-and-after pair instead of a single capture. Proof is visible to your opponent and your judge for the purpose of ruling the day - it is not published anywhere public.
A missed day is ruled a no-show. No-shows are neutral: nobody wins the day, nobody loses points, and there is no make-up day. A single forge tolerates up to 5 no-show days, after which the judge has to rule a real outcome instead.
You need one opponent - a forge is a contest, so it does not work solo. You do not need a third person, because the judge can be a free AI referee instead of a friend. You can invite an opponent by email even if they have never used Forge; the invitation brings them in.

Yes. Forge is 18+ only and asks for a date of birth at sign-up.
Either a third friend or an AI referee - you pick when you create the forge. A friend judge sees both proofs side by side once they are in and rules the day. The AI referee (Amazon Nova) scores both proofs against the habit and rules automatically, calls a fair tie, and flags the day when it is not confident. The AI referee is free and does not use a team seat.
A human judge has until noon the following day, in the forge's timezone, to rule a day. Past that the AI referee rules it instead, so a silent judge can never leave a forge stuck. A judge who repeatedly misses rulings can be replaced.
Each competitor can raise one dispute per forge. It exists for the clearly wrong call, not for every close day - which is also why the limit is one.
The judge is chosen before the contest starts and both sides see who it is, so anyone uncomfortable with the pick can decline the invitation before day one. If you would rather remove the question entirely, choose the AI referee: it applies the same standard to both proofs every day.
You earn points by winning days, plus a bonus for winning the forge itself, and longer forges pay more. Points are score only - they are never bought, and no plan or purchase gives you a scoring advantage.
Points you earn in a calendar month rank you on a Top 100 board that resets on the 1st. It ranks winners only, so there is no public losing. Lifetime points are separate and never reset - they carry you up 10 levels, from Ember to Mythic, with badges along the way.
Yes. Judges have their own monthly board, ranked on rulings delivered, with a bonus for ruling on time. Refereeing well is worth doing even in a month where you compete in nothing.
The design assumes people will try. Points come from ruled days with real proof behind them, a per-opponent monthly cap can be switched on, and outcomes are never purchasable. Anti-farming limits are tuned as the boards grow.
Yes, and it stays free. Starting a forge costs nothing at any length, forges you are invited to are unlimited and always free, and proof, judging and the leaderboards are all included. The free plan runs 1 forge you started at a time. Every new account also gets 7 days of Premium, no card required.
Premium raises how many of your own forges can run at once, from 1 to 5, and adds Premium profile cosmetics. It costs $6.99 a month or $39.99 a year. It buys volume and cosmetics only: Premium never affects points, rulings or leaderboard position.
Yes. Lifetime is a single $99.99 payment with no subscription - everything Premium includes, permanently. It is an early-adopter price and will not stay at that number forever.
From Billing inside the app if you subscribed on the web, or from your Apple or Google account subscriptions if you subscribed on a phone - a store subscription can only be cancelled through that store. Cancelling leaves you on the free plan with your history, points and level intact.
No. Entry fees are switched off: starting a forge is free at every length, whatever plan you are on.
A team plan buys a fixed number of seats for your company. Each seat gives one colleague Premium and adds them to a private team leaderboard, so a department can challenge each other without anyone expensing an app. Only the team owner ever sees a purchase screen; members just join.
There are three, billed monthly at a flat price - never per seat added: Crew is $29.99 a month for 5 seats ($6.00 per seat at full occupancy), Squad is $69.99 for 15 seats ($4.67 per seat), and Company is $99.99 for 30 seats ($3.33 per seat). You can move up a plan at any time.
Yes. Creating your first team starts a 7-day trial with a full 5-seat cap, no card. The trial is once per account, so it is a real trial rather than a way to run a team for free forever.
Two ways: the owner or an admin invites them by email address, or you share the team join code and they enter it on the Team screen. Either way a free seat is taken at the moment they join, and the seat funds their Premium for as long as the team subscription is open.
No, and it is enforced in the product, not just promised here. The team board shows display name, points, day wins and forge wins. That is the whole list. It never shows habit names, proof photos or videos, or anyone’s forge history, and owners and admins get seat management only - no proof access, for anyone, ever. You see that people are showing up. You never see what they are doing.
It should never be. Joining takes an explicit action from the employee, and leaving is one tap with no admin approval - the leave button is always visible. Forge works because the competition is voluntary and between peers.
The seat stops funding your Premium and you drop to the free plan, with your account, history, points and level untouched. A team seat and a personal subscription are tracked separately, so if you already pay for Premium yourself, a seat never overwrites or cancels it.

Your opponent and the judge of that forge, for the purpose of ruling the day. Proof is not posted to a public feed, is not shown on any leaderboard, and is not visible to a team owner or admin.
From Settings in the app, or from the deletion page at forge.radostit.com/delete-account if you no longer have the app installed. Deletion removes your account and your proof media.
